Servicing the Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders
Crunching
gears. he problem was getting worse. Fist port of call - bleed the
clutch. Plenty of air in there and it made the gear changes much smoother.
Then
the crunches came back. I ended up having to bleed the clutch every
week - each time getting a large bubble of air out of the bleed valve.
Feeling
flush, I bought a service kit for each end of the hydraulics.
This
was a simple, two hour job.
But
it took all day. The picture links explain why - but the result (so
far) has been worth it. Clean gear changes. Much more clutch 'feel'.
